God of steadfast love,
you are rich in mercy;
even when through our
trespasses we were
dead, out of great love
you have loved us
and made us alive
together with Christ.
Though the rain falls,
and the floods come,
and the winds beat upon
our house, do
not forsake the work of
your hands—
guard our feet; remind
us, not by
our might do we prevail,
but by
standing on your solid rock.
Fulfill your purpose for
us.
