III. Meditation: Paths
What is it like in your presence?
You promise fullness of joy
and pleasures forever and ever.
That is the path that you show us.
You call us to follow this path,
wonderful things to behold there,
miracles greater and greater,
Though you do not say it is easy.
In rebellion we harden our hearts,
shut out the sound of your voice,
seek vengeance greater and greater-
the wilderness path that we follow.
