II. Selections
Psalm 25:4-5
Make me to know your ways, O LORD;
      teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth, and teach me,
      for you are the God of my salvation;
      for you I wait all day long.
Judges 9:15
“…And the bramble said to the trees, ‘If in good faith you are anointing me king over you, then come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, let fire come out of the bramble and devour the cedars of Lebanon.’ … ” [Jotham to the lords of Shechem]
Acts 4:19-20
But Peter and John answered [the members of the Council], “Whether it is right in God’s sight to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge; for we cannot keep from speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
John 2:10b
“…But you have kept the good wine until now.” [The steward to the bridegroom]
III. Meditation
Jesus, you are the Good Wine,
the one anointed to be king in our lives.
Lead us in your truth,
for we cannot find your paths
unless you make them known to us.
Lead us, and teach us,
that we may speak about
what we have seen and heard.
