Lord Jesus,
Make me delight to do your will;
place your law within my heart.
For the oppressed, may I seek justice;
may I work to defend those who
have no one to plead for them.
Your word inspired by the Holy Spirit
let me receive with joy; and Jesus, may
I never forget your authority over my life.

Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
      remove the evil of your doings
      from before my eyes;
cease to do evil,
      learn to do good;
seek justice,
      rescue the oppressed,
defend the orphan,
      plead for the widow.
