O Lord, you are the
Father of lights;
even the darkness is
not dark to you;
the night is as
bright as the day,
for darkness is as
light to you.
In you is no
variation or shadow;
and every generous
act of giving,
with every perfect
gift,
comes down from you.
We call on your name
to be saved,
for we have
squandered your gifts;
forgive us, that when
you
call us, we may answer.
