O God, we thank you for
Jesus, who is close to your heart.
No one has ever seen you, but
he made you known,
for he is the exact imprint of
your very being.
We thank you for Jesus, the
reflection of your glory,
who sustains all things by
his powerful word.
We thank you for Jesus, who
came to rescue the weak,
to deliver the needy from the
hand of the wicked.
We thank you for Jesus,
because through Jesus
we are able to love you with
all our heart,
with all our soul, with all
our might.
