Let your steadfast
love be upon us,
even as we hope in
you:
even as we hope for
the time when no one will hurt or destroy,
and the whole earth
will be full of the knowledge of you,
as the waters cover
the sea;
even as we hope for
what no eye has seen,
no ear has heard, nor
the heart conceived—
what you have
prepared for those who love you;
even as we pray for
the peace you give to us,
the peace that takes
away the trouble in our hearts,
the peace that
replaces fear with hope and steadfast love.
