Pluck their feet out
of the net, O God--feet of those
whose taskmasters lay
on terrible burdens, and feet
of all children who must trip on stumbling
blocks.
Forgive the roles we
play in such evils, even if
like unthinking
children; make us think
and act like adults,
lest millstones
hang around our
necks.
