Lord Jesus, give us
wisdom and understanding
to know that it is not
enough to love
in word or speech; we
must show our love in
truth and action—justice
to the weak
and the orphan,
maintaining the right of the
lowly and the destitute.
You gave sight to the
blind,
made the lame walk,
cleansed the lepers,
made the deaf hear,
raised the dead,
brought good news to the
poor. We too
must advocate for love
and justice.
