Searching, or Searched for?--Jan. 16, 2019

You, are the first and the last, rich in mercy;

we suppose we are searching for you,

but from the beginning you, O God,

have called the generations.

Even when through our trespasses we were dead,

out of your great love you made us alive

together with Christ.  By grace

we have been saved.

Let your steadfast love be upon us,

even as we hope in you.
