Lord Jesus, you have sown so we could reap.
You have done a new thing: you have
sent us to reap that for which
we did not labor.
In the wilderness you heard our distress;
you have freed us from our burden--
we called and you rescued us.
We have taken refuge with you, Lord;
encourage us to seize the hope
you have set before us.

In distress you called, and I rescued you…"

Isa. 43:19
I am about to do a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
Heb. 6:18
…so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is
impossible that God would prove false, we who have taken refuge might be
strongly encouraged to seize the hope set before us.
John 4:37
"…For here the saying holds true, 'One sows and another
reaps.' I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into
their labor."
