You are the God we
want to serve;
pray fulfill your
purpose for us.
We are your children
now--
what we will be has
not been revealed,
but we want to be
like Jesus.
There is much we
question in our hearts,
but you have
delivered us in the past,
and we believe in
your steadfast love,
and that you will not
forsake
the work of your
hands.

The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands.
your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands.
Dan. 3:17-18
If our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the
furnace of blazing fire and out of your hand, O king, let him deliver us.
But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods and we
will not worship the golden statue that you have set up.”
1 John 3:2
Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we will be has not
yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be
like him, for we will see him as he is.
