Peter dug a pit, dug
it deeper, dug it deeper still;
the cock crowed, and
into his own pit he fell.
We wonder why you
have made a heap of ruins;
we are the ones--made
it digging our pits.
A hungry one is
naked; we give him our blessing,
but no food or clothing. Who falls into the pit?

"…This house will become a heap of ruins; everyone passing
by it will be astonished, and will hiss; and they will say, ‘Why has the LORD
done such a thing to this land and to this house?’ …"
James 2:15-16
If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one
of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill,” and yet you do
not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that?
Mark 14:72
At that moment the cock crowed for the second time. Then Peter remembered that Jesus had said to
