We bless your name, O God, and sing to you.
Every day, remind us of our salvation,
for the gate is narrow, and the way is hard,
that leads to life, and few of us find it.
And how can we be confident of finding it?
Not by boasting of our knowledge;
knowledge puffs up, while love builds up.
Christ, grant us love to follow you through
the narrow gate, on the hard way.
