We belong to you, O Christ, in order
that we may bear fruit to God.
Forgive me, Lord, if I speak peace
while mischief is in my heart,
lest I bear much bad fruit.
And forgive that, even
when I know I am wrong,
I refuse to change my mind,
worse yet, blame others
for my foolishness.
