Awaken my soul, Lord Jesus,
and give me a steadfast heart.
I shall sing and make melody;
I shall keep your way by doing
justice and righteousness, so
you may bring about what
you have promised.
You have called us
to freedom, so that through
love we may serve one another
and others will know who you are.
O Jesus, I pray you, awaken my soul.
