Lord Jesus,
you are an oak of
righteousness.
You amaze us as you
walk ahead
of us to
Jerusalem. We fear to follow.
You desire truth in
the inward being;
in our secret hearts
teach us your wisdom.
Help us to remember
what we have learned,
and to continue in
what we have firmly believed.
