[From Sept. 10, 2012 archive]
The works you did in
your Father's name testified to your identity.
Your disciples saw
you rescue the destitute and the orphan;
they saw you maintain
the right of the weak and needy.
They were filled with
joy and with Holy Spirit;
the Spirit made for
their understanding.
We pray to see your
works in us, Lord Jesus;
help us maintain the
right of the needy;
fill us with joy in
your Holy Spirit;
we pray, give us
understanding.
